INTRODUCTION

 

AHEAD has provided a bursary of 21384.00 Birr ($3945.36 Can.) to 18 medical students for three academic years (2000-2003).

 

 

ADMINISTRATION

 

AHEAD delegates the GBF, to administer the Bursary, including selection of a successful candidate and the disbursement of the funds.

 

PRINCPLES

 

The main objective of Ahead bursary is to facilitate possibilities for a student with the potential for academic excellence by providing limited economic assistance toward academic needs.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

As the administrator of the Bursary program, GBF will provide reports to Ahead as per a memorandum of understanding signied by both organizations.

Temesghen Hailu, President of Ahead is the representative and contact person for all communication with regard to Ahead Bursary.

 

Ahead Bursary recipients are welcome to join Ahead as members of the affiliate association that will be created in Addis Ababa in due course.
