The Canada-Ethiopia Friendship Society dinner dance evening
on October 2 provided a perfect opportunity for Ahead to
raise much needed funds.

Society preparing a "Garage Sale" which raised a total of $150.00.
The funds will go toward the first Ahead bursary to a medical
student at the Addis Ababa University.
Members of the Canada-Ethiopia Friendship Society took no more than 30
minutes to grab every item on the Garage Sale.
Ahead President Temesghen Hailu and Gary Kober Chief Liberian of the Montreal General Hospital sealing a partnership with firm handshake after receipt of 195 medical books donated by the Montreal General Hospital to Ahead. All books will be shipped to the Addis Ababa University.
