ETHIOPIAN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION OF TORONTO RECOGNIZES AHEAD

The Ethiopian Community Association in Toronto awarded AHEAD a plaque in

recognition of its services to the community and its innovative

initiative.

At a ceremony held in Toronto on September 14, 2002, AHEAD 

Representative Ainalem Tebeje, received the award on behalf 

of the association. In her acceptance speech, Ainalem 

said that AHEAD is an organization of Ethiopians, for 

Ethiopians and it was an honour that AHEAD was

recognized by its own people.

As an emerging organization of a small but dedicated group of

volunteers, AHEAD feels proud to be recognized by the Ethiopian

Community Association of Toronto - an organization that has served our

community with commitment.
