Meet Friends of Ahead

 

 

A new, small organization with only eight members, Ahead must build a strong, reliable base of supporters who not only understand and appreciate our cause, but are willing to extend a helping hand when called upon.  In return, Ahead must maintain a transparent accountability and show all its supporters how and where their assistance has been channelled. 

 

Ahead has been fortunate that, since its inception, many friends have come to believe in its mission and, as a result, have extended their support.  Certificates of Appreciation are awarded to all volunteers who are selected as Friends of Ahead. Ahead continues to receive their support in different ways:

 

I.          Donations of books, journals, equipment and other items

 

II.          Use of facilities, resources and publicity for Ahead functions

 

III.         Donations of dishes, drinks and other items necessary for fund-raising activities    

 

IV.        Voluntary assistance in fund-raising and other activities

 

V.        Expert advice

 

VI.        Offers to carry books

 

VII.       Financial or in kind donations,
